The Working Groups bring together cultural professionals from diverse backgrounds to enable them to reflect on a topic they are not necessarily specialists in. This requires a commitment of several days over the course of the season, culminating in a presentation of their work during a collective trip.
Three working groups initiated in 2024-2025:
- Exploring Experimental Music
- Sustainable living arts in 2043, experience of Design Fiction
- Building with the Youth?
The group “Building with Youth?” collaborated with Camille Jutant, a teacher-researcher at the University of Lyon 2, to produce a collective text (in French) that summarizes the discussions and examples shared during the three sessions. The group then explored, guided by Rachel Dufour, director of the company Les guêpes rouges-théâtre, how to find a more equitable place for young people within artistic and cultural projects. Another document, consisting of a map and 10 compasses, was also produced to offer a framework for reflection and action aimed at fostering authentic, lasting, and transformative relationships WITH young people.
A fourth group, focusing on Freedom of expression and Freedom of programming, was added in the spring of 2025.
