The 2026-2027 Season Program

Onda’s 2026–2027 season is taking shape in a context marked by growing tensions, but also by remarkable artistic vitality. It reaffirms a strong conviction: the circulation of works, ideas and voices is an essential condition of democratic life.

Throughout the year, the programme will invite participants to step back, share experiences and collectively explore ways of taking action. The Ad Hoc Encounters will combine reflection with artistic exchange, while the new Toolbox Encounters, firmly rooted in practice, will offer concrete resources and actionable ideas.

The topics addressed reflect several key areas of focus: the relationship between creation, landscapes and territories; local and international cooperation; new artistic languages; accessibility; hospitality; ethical philanthropy; shared responsibilities; and the ability of cultural organisations to bring people together in a divided society.

The season will also place strong emphasis on freedom of expression, creation and programming, as well as on the place of artists within the cultural ecosystem and society. Two Working Groups will explore these issues in greater depth in a small-group setting.

The Roaming Encounters in Reunion Island (France) and Kerala (India), the Algeria Pathway and the Shared International Arts Watch will further this ambition to move beyond familiar perspectives, better understand other contexts and develop a more collective and responsible approach to international work.

Finally, Online Meetings, Connecting Artists and Programmers, Round Tables and Onda’s Media content will create multiple occasions to meet, share discoveries and strengthen cooperation.

This season is an invitation to “ride the wave” together: to keep moving, build alliances and turn obstacles into opportunities for action.
