The French office for contemporary performing arts circulation (Onda) promotes the dissemination of contemporary performing arts through information, expertise, networking, financial support, surveys.

What’s on What’s on
Onda’s effectiveness is based on its ability to scout works by artistic teams and its familiarity with performance venues. In 2021, the Onda team went to 149 cities and saw 1,558 performances of 1,220 shows.

Networking Networking
The network overseen by Onda is driven by a commitment to more efficiently promote contemporary artistic creation and to facilitate contact between artists and performance venues.
Playing an active role in the life of the professional network is also about observing what is being constructed elsewhere, identifying processes of experimentation and encouraging new practices. To develop these initiatives, Onda generally works in a partnership approach.
Financial support Financial support
Regarding its financial support for the dissemination of works, Onda’s role is to help increase the overall lifespans of productions whose high artistic standards have been recognised, so that they may reach a wider audience. In 2021, Onda supported the circulation of 1,021 shows by 765 artistic teams for 4,520 performances in 401 structures, for a total budget of €3,288,731.

Onda occupies a unique position at the crossroads of all performing arts disciplines, between production and circulation, with a regional, national and European outlook while maintaining a vibrant relationship with the stakeholders of the contemporary stage. This position makes it particularly qualified to observe and analyse this sector.

Rida Danse

A meeting dedicated to danse.

As spaces of listening and exchange, the Rida fulfils three primary functions: the exchange of artistic information (productions seen or to be seen), cooperation and reflection. Rida foster the emergence of new networks or strengthen existing networks in their efforts to implement joint actions such as organising tours or co-producing projects.

The Rida danse is organised in the context of Festival nordique (16 – 27 January 2018), a festival dedicating to Northern European choreographers.

Programme :
– exchanges on artistic issues (productions to be seen, to premiere)
– meetings with choreographers from Fabrique Chaillot, Ingrid Berger Myhre (Norway), Mari Carrasco (Sweden), Gunilla Lind (Denmark), Sonya Lindfors (Finland), Rosa Omarsdottir (Iceland), moderator Annelie Gardell, director of Dansen Hus / International Scene of Contemporary Dance in Stockholm.
– artistic programme : Kodak, Alan Lucien Øyen; Tide, Bára Sigfúsdóttir & Eivind Lønning; Scheherazade, Ina Christel Johannessen; The WOMANhouse, Andreas Constantinou – collective Himherandit.
